Meeting God was never meant to be picture-perfect.
It’s not always coffee in hand, Bible open, journal ready, highlighter poised, a serene view, and a tidy table.
Sometimes, it’s meditating on scripture while folding laundry.
It’s sending an encouraging message to a friend.
It’s whispering a prayer over a stranger.
It’s writing a thank-you card to God and your neighbor.
It’s wiping your child’s runny nose or sipping from your now-suspiciously toddler-infused water.
It’s the mess on the counter that says, “This home is open to create, play, learn, and simply be.”
It’s meeting God by embracing the creativity He’s woven into you for this moment.
We are beauty creators, fashioned in His image.
Yes, we learn about Him through His word.
But we glorify Him by living it.
Don’t wait for the perfect setup.
Not the quiet morning, the right journal, highlighters, or the ideal season.
Meet God where you are—He’s already there.
Take His word with you wherever you go.
Learn to live it with the One you know.
He is here.
God made you—every part of you—
For your good and His glory, too.
Don’t try to be anyone else; embrace your story.
Share your gifts, your talents, possessions, and time
In the same love that Jesus sacrificially gave,
For the togetherness we all crave.
He is here.
And when those picture-perfect moments come, enjoy them.
But don’t let their absence steal your joy.
God has never left; He’s always been,
Simply longing for your time with Him.
